Aker Solutions' APAC HSSE team based in KL, are supporting all delivery centres in Asia Pacific region. We are looking to enhance our team with enthusiastic and talented individuals that are experienced and able to work independently who can strengthen our team and support our ambitious growth plans within the HSSE team APAC. We are looking for the HSSE Advisor APAC:
Responsibilities and Tasks:
- HSSE lead for all tenders in APAC
- Assist and coordinate ERP and crisis management plans and drills
- Support to APAC locations on audits and also vendor development programs
- Support other locations mainly Port Klang in operational HSSE support as required (travel to Port Klang required on a periodical basis)
- Ensure that the HSSE management system is updated and communicated to interested parties as per global requirements and in-compliance with ISO 14001 & OHSAS 18001 MS
- Custodian of HSSE documentation in APAC
- Monitor and prepare analysis on HSSE trends for APAC region
- Assist in the documentations and support on day to day operational HSSE issues
- Ensure all HSSE incident are recorded and tracked on a regular basis for closure
- Assist, support on local programs and/or campaigns within the region and to perform and undertake task/projects as requested
Qualifications and Personal Qualities:
- Has a minimum of 5 years' experience as a HSSE professional in Oil & Gas or similar industry
- Green Book holder or Nebosh certificate
- Lead auditor for ISO 14001 & OHSAS 18001
- Has experience in conducting security or emergency response training
- Experienced in incident investigation tool such as topset, taproot, bowtie etc
- Independent, analytical and organised
- Effective communicator and a team player
