Group level Head of Security (Strategic role) position in Oil & Gas sector, based in KL with frequent travels.

You’ll be working for a reputable market-leader within the Oil & Gas space, who is looking for a strategic leader to take on the role as Head of Security to be based in KL with frequent travels across the globe . With an aggressive growth plan and the vision to become a better leader in its field, it continues to gain market share over its competitors.

Your new role 
Reporting to the Head of HSE, your primary role will be focusing on driving the overall strategic direction on the Security spectrum across the group. You will:

• Formulate & establish frameworks, policies, practices, strategy and guidelines for the Group
• Provide guidance and insights in security due diligence, risk assessment and audits to ensure all risks are identified, evaluated and managed
• Champion, orchestrate and lead overall security operations domestically and internationally 
• Direct investigations and intelligence strategies 
• Network and relationship management internally and externally 
• Enforce the implementation of procedures and guidelines to statutory & legislative requirements 
• Communicate, interpret and champion execution of strong Code of Conduct & Business Ethics 
• Manage, drive and develop team members to achieve high performance delivery 

What you'll need to succeed 

• Strong critical thinking and analytical skills 
• Strategic level mindset and strong leadership track record 
• Good existing relationship with any security related government bodies 
• At least 15 years working experience in relevant function 
• Experience in the Oil & Gas sector
