POSITION SUMMARY:
 Reporting to the CPP OIM and the Operations Superintendent. The OIM is responsible to direct and control the day to day operations, maintenance, Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) and SIMOP activities on all the facilities as to meet the requirements for reception, storage and cargo management of the Condensate (and Produced water) from the CPP in a safe and cost effective manner, in order to avoid penalty and demurrage. He also direct and control the expected condensate offloading activities to ensure the required export quantity & quality are met in order to avoid discount in price or penalty. The big challenge for him is controlling the contractor operator and ensuring that they are implementing Production Excellence in their operations to leverage on meeting the company vision and objectives.
 In the pre operate phase he will support the projects Value Navigator to prepare Operations Readiness.
 The individual may be required to fulfill the duties of the CPP Offshore Installation Manager as required.
 ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Direct and control the day to day operations activities on all the platforms, FPSO or FSO such as process monitoring, troubleshooting, start-up and managing contractors and simultaneous operations are carried-out in a timely, safe and cost effective manner meeting Buyer’s daily sales gas nomination and specifications under the Sales Gas Agreement. Also, in compliance with company policies, regulations, environmental, health, safety requirements
  • Direct and control the day to day maintenance, inspection, certification and repair activities on the FSO are carried-out in a timely, safe and cost effective manner and in compliance with company policies, regulations, health, safety & environmental requirements
  • Ensure that all offshore requirements (logistics, manpower, parts, etc) for condensate export / offloading activities are been managed.
  • Direct and control all SIMOP activities such as maintenance campaigns & commissioning activities are carried-out safely and there is no interruption to reception of condensate from the CPP.
  • Maintain the FSO state of readiness at all times to response to any emergency situation and lead the Emergency Response Team during an emergency.
  • Implement, control and promote continuous improvement and enhancement on safety awareness, safety attitude and safety standards on the FSO through various program and personal commitment.
  • Execute and administer operations & maintenance related contracts such as Catering, Standby Boat, Supply Boat, FSO Operations & Maintenance, Manpower Supply Services, Original Equipment Manufacturer’s contracts.
  • Ensure that the key performance indicators elements / targets related to the Offshore are achieved.
  • Produce and propose the annual Work Plan & Budget (WP&B) and responsible for the achievement WP&B.
  • Implement and control the environmental discharge control requirements for the FSO i.e. are complied with and within the statutory and company limits.
  • Coordinate and communicate with office Technical function Support & Business Support groups for technical support, material delivery, service requirement, etc.
  • Planning and propose the trainings of subordinates (including contract technicians) to ensure competency.
    Be a technical coach to at least one graduate or upcoming OIM
  • REQUIRED EDUCATION, SKILLS and EXPERIENCE:
  • With at least 10 years working experience in offshore oil & gas operations.
  • Certification for Chief Mate unlimited, STCW Convention regulation II/2
  • Certification for Master unlimited, STCW Convention regulation II/2 (Preferable)
  • Marine Security Officer
  • Mooring master certification (preferable)
  • Well versed in offshore safety, health and environment regulations, standards and procedures.
  • Possess strong leadership qualities and able to communicate to subordinates and superior effectively
  • Experienced in managing a multicultural work environment. Mature with excellent communication skills, leadership qualities and able to influence other disciplines (including contractors) on key issues and resolve conflicts.
  • Has ability to make good judgment and timely decision.
  • Has formal training and competent in ‘Major Emergency Management’ for offshore installation. 
  • Good command of spoken and written in English.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office software i.e. Word, Excel, Power Point, e-mail and Computerised Maintenance Management System, Integrity system, Classification Society rules.
  • Able to work independently, set direction and lead the team to achieve the company’s goals and objectives.
  • Able to guide and develop subordinates to analyse and enhance performance
