About Our Client
Our client is a leading multinational company in the Oil & Gas company based in Kuala Lumpur.
Job Description
This position will be based in Malaysia as a part of the Operational Planning, reporting directly to Operation Planning Manager.
- To manage effectively inventory planning process.
- To fulfill customer requirements at the right time and right quantity.
- Ensure forecasting figures are analyzed correctly for all finished goods and plan a monthly filling schedule to be provided to production.
- Ensure that Finished Products are planned at the right quantity to ensure that stock days are met and achieved
- Assist Supply Planning Manager to implement inventory holding policy to improve working capital movement while maintaining required service level.
- Custodian planning process, ensuring safety stock and replenishment levels are reviewed and updated regularly for all warehouses and depots.
- Review cost of products on a continuous basis and identify opportunity for potential savings, such as SLOB reduction.
- The incumbent is also expected to contribute to the continuous improvement of the inventory holding to minimize working capital.
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor degree in any field, preferably in mathematics, or business analytics.
- Possess inventory planning, good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Problem solving - able to identify risks / pitfalls and take appropriate actions; able to develop and employ a variety of approaches to resolve wide-ranging problem.
- IT literate; ability to maximize SAP systems/software usage in facilitating decision making and problem solving.
- Ability to deal with stressful workload situations, effectively organizing and prioritizing work to meet urgent
- Supervisory and influencing skills are essential to drive and lead projects.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
