Job Description
Reporting to the Head of Operation, the Engineering Manager will be required to assume the following responsibilities:
- Providing leadership and strategic direction for the Engineering team particularly in Maintenance of the equipment and machineries
- Planning and executing Preventive Maintenance System/TPM Activities to reduce breakdown
- Fully responsible for the plant wide CAPEX and OPEN projects
- Liaising with internal and external consultants on plant expansion and technology transfer projects
- Coaching and guiding internal staffs to further develop their Technical skills and knowledge
- Fully responsible of the Engineering team yearly budget and proactively coming out with ideas on improvement and renovation projects
- Setting and cultivating a positive work culture within the Engineering team
- Providing technical support to cross functional teams within the organization
The Successful Applicant
- Degree educated in Engineering (Mechanical, Automation, Mechatronic or Electrical)
- More than 10 years of Maintenance experience in a continuous process based manufacturing environment (concrete, carbon, chemicals, paper, steel, rubber, oleo chemical)
- More than 3 years of experience in a Managerial position
- Strong leadership abilities
