Civil Engineer

Responsibilities :
- Supervising construction staff and coordinating various components of construction work in accordance to the master schedule.
- Manage civil interface for the different components of work.
- Conduct regular safety inspections on staff, equipment and construction procedures
- Manage and record on project progress and managing any possible delays on overall schedule.
- Resolve any technical issues and attend all relevant site meetings.
- Review and comment on sub-contractor's submissions.
- Proper record maintaining for inspections and audit purposes.
- Performs detail engineering on C&S for EPCC Oil & Gas Metering Station.
- Review engineering design done by EPCC Engineering sub-contractor.
Requirements :
- At least a Bachelor's Degree in Civil with minimum 2 years in related field.
- Knowledge in AutoCAD is an advantages
- Understanding of design concepts, specs, drawings and schedules.
- Understanding of construction practices and local requirements, including codes/ regulations and permits required for structural works.
Job Description
- Execute work assigned according to schedule through proper planning.
- Ensure project meets the stipulated quality requirements by closely monitoring and supervising the work and to take the appropriate actions timely to remedy any shortcoming.
- Check all construction drawings, identify and highlight discrepancies, if any, and take the appropriate timely follow-up actions.
- Arrange, coordinate and monitor the work of the casual workers, to ensure optimum utilization of labor and quality of work carried out.
- Schedule, coordinate and monitor utilization of site machineries to ensure optimum usage.
- Controlling and managing site materials, which includes ordering materials
- Running the site from setup to completion, controlling all aspects of site operations
- Co-ordinate progress meetings and liaise with clients, contractors and other professionals associated with the project, often producing daily/weekly reports.
- Responsible for weekly site meeting to discuss progress on site and conducting site inspections
- Co-ordinate with site team to ensure problems is resolved quickly.
- Responsible for overseeing the workforce, site welfare and health and safety.
- Prepare Method Statements and any other site documentation
