1. Petroleum Engineer
Job Role Summary
  • Ensuring proper implementation of established reservoir management strategies and surveillance plans including short-term adjustments to cater for operational constraints without compromising longer-term reservoir recovery.
  • Ensuring that wellbore hydraulic models are accurate, up to date and accessible to Asset Level Team (ALT) technical staff via defined repositories/locations.
  • Collaborating with multi-functional teams to identify, execute opportunities and optimize well performance.
  • Identifying, validating, analyzing and uploading pressure data including clarification/validation of Pressure-Volume-Temperature (PVT) assumptions for fluid density, downhole parameters and determination of missing parameters when required.

Expected Level of Proficiency
  • A Bachelor of Engineering or higher degree in Petroleum Engineering.
  • Preferably 2 - 10 years of practical experience in the upstream / petrochemical / chemical / refinery or a similar industry.
  • Demonstrated in-depth skills and knowledge in:
    • Petroleum engineering operations and production methods for oil and natural gas recovery
    • Reservoir surveillance/modeling, wellbore performance modeling or practical reservoir pressure application such as field surveillance and optimization
    • Production/Well optimization and Artificial Lift system and technology via practical experiences in troubleshooting/diagnostic/optimizing well performance
  • Familiar with:
    • Reservoir surveillance, production or hydraulic modeling tools/applications, particularly Integrated Production Modelling (IPM) suite of applications
    • Pressure analysis tools/applications, e.g. Kappa Suite of Applications
  • Passionate to be an engineer and show strong technical attributes e.g. attention to details, highly organized and good math/analytical skills.

Job Role Summary
  • Provide leadership and project Quality Control support for Instrumentation & Control Systems (I&CS) as part of large scale process plant investments and/or control system specialty projects as well as consult and work with operating sites and projects.
  • Provide I&CS leadership, coordination, guidance, mentoring and supervision for all phases of capital project planning, design, execution and startup as well as lead multifunctional planning team.
  • Provide assistance to multiple project teams and work with project managers to provide support on reliability, safety system, equipment strategy development and turnaround maintenance reviews.

Expected Level of Proficiency
  • Bachelor of Engineering or higher degree in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering.
  • Preferably 2 - 10 years of previous experience in the Oil & Gas or EPC industry including in roles such as:
    • Lead I&CS Design / Project / QC on major projects
    • Project Manager (Development on Control System projects)
    • Technical support for I&CS at operating plants
    • Safety System design and implementation on major projects
  • Ability to execute complex assignments including facilities planning of large Control System projects.
  • Effective management of multifunctional teams.
  • Familiarity with project work processes such as peer reviews, quality assurance and risk assessment/management.
  • Knowledge of key I&CS technologies such as:
    • Design of Control System and Instrumentation Power / UPS requirements
    • Control Valve sizing or Design of Local Panels (Compressor control, Boiler control etc.)
    • Compressor control including Anti-surge control
    • Tank Gauging systems
    • Programmable Logic Controller based systems
    • Safety System Design and implementation
