Our client, an established organization and world renowned name in the oil & gas sector is currently on the lookout for a Senior Manager to manage the organization's Technical Capability and Competency. This position will be based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage and review technical capability master plan to support approved business strategies and initiatives through business and operation analysis, in line with industry best practices
- Develop, implement and review technical competency framework
- Design and review technical competency list, technology inventory and rulers and proficiency descriptors
- Roll out technical competency assessment, estalbish technical competency development roadmap and implement intervention plan to close technical competency gaps
- Develop, implement and review technical development plan
- Develop and manage technical career progression plan and structured development framework to develop and nurture competent technical profesisonals within the organization
- Engage employees to foster and create a sense of courage, meaning, ownership and value within their work and with the organization
REQUIREMENTS
- 10 -12 years of related working experience in oil & gas / operations / shipping / heavy engineering sector
- Experience in operational initiatives and capability building is an added advantage
- Bachelor Degree in Human Resource Management, Social Science or equivalent
