Chargeman (BO-11kv) – Contract Term

Main responsibilities:

Receive Permit Menjalankan Pengujian & Diagnostik (PMPD) from TNBD Authorized Personnel (TNBD AP) before conducting test at TNB substations.
Assist/lead Asset Performance Unit testing services mainly Partial Discharge Mapping Testing outside of TNB Research.
Responsible for the safety of testing team throughout testing period.
Secure the connections of high voltage testing equipment to cables under test.
Drive to TNB substations to perform testing services.

Other responsibilities:

To assist the other project leaders on the other R&D projects, related to underground cable and cable accessories, the diagnostic, evaluation and analysis work.
To assist in the failure analysis work for cable and cable accessories, which include the post-mortem works.
To assist in other cable testing services, including Dielectric Spectroscopy (DS) measurement, high voltage laboratory testing & measurement.
To do other tasks assigned by the Head of Section and the Head of Unit.

REQUIREMENTS

Possess class BO-11kV Chargeman approved by Suruhanjaya Tenaga Malaysia
Minimum requirement, Certificate in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
Having the experience in R&D works or HV diagnostics and testing is an added advantage
Have a valid car driving license & GDL
Must be willing to work outstation (away from TNB Research office)
