Aircraft & Engineering Senior Procurement Profesional

Role Purpose

Review and develop sourcing strategies for the identified work category including category management methodologies.
Procure goods and services in the identified work category, lead RFx exercise, develop business proposals, and negotiate contracts consistent with given business requirements.

Key Accountability

  • Identify and execute against agreed KPIs to leverage spend and maximize savings opportunities.
  • Work with clients and internal stakeholders to influence and advocate business decisions pertaining to third-party procurement activities.
  • Conduct regular business user communication pertaining to procurement’s policy, processes, roles and value .

Assist in the planning and execution of sourcing events, and report results to the management."

Support implementation framework for sourcing category to ensure effective implementation and utilization of e-Procurement tools.

Qualification
Degree - Any field, preferably in Engineering, Supply Chain Management.

Working Experience

4 - Work experience in similar roles in multi-national companies

Skill & Knowledge

Previous experience in stakeholder management.

Comprehensive understanding of end-to-end procurement process, including 7-steps sourcing process

Strong ability to build relationships and networks with multiple business units (BU) and understanding of BU's business operations.

Teamwork, results oriented, creativity, planning, project management, contract management , negotiation, adaptability and strong communications & interpersonal skills are critical.
