Job Description:
- Responsible for design, integration and testing of the mechanical systems & thermal management solutions
- Perform weight management, centre of gravity analysis and structural analysis (for critical/key components) of the system
- Oversee the design and integration of the racking and packaging of the hardware
- Create and update the Computer Aided Design models, documentations and drawings.
- Develop and follow project plan, and report the status to Product engineer and/or customer
- Ensure the design verification and design validation are carried out to confirm the design
- Provide assistance and technical advice to the project team on matters related to mechanical engineering
- Assist project team on the conduct of system test, trial and demonstration
Job Requirements:
- Degree in Electrical/ Mechatronics/ Automotive Engineering
- Knowledge of electrical/ electronic hardware design
- Knowledge of communication protocols and network capabilities, e.g. serial communication, CAN network and Ethernet, software programming knowledge
- Prior knowledge and exposure to automotive electrical design will be advantageous
- Able to communicate and sustain good relationships in dealing with working counterparts at all levels, including customers and users of the products)
- Able to work in a dynamic environment, and resilient to changes
- Independent and a strong team player
