PIPING ENGINEER

Job Description

  • Responsible for Supervision of fabrication and installation of piping items as per drawings and clients specifications.
  • Responsible for planned progress schedule without compromising quality and safety.
  • Responsible to identify and record piping size, fittings and grade used in accordance with the isometric drawings and P&ID.
  • Co-ordinates with QC, Painting Supervisors and Client representative for Hydro-test and completion.
  • Responsible for safety related to work place & Worker / Contractor under you.
  • Attend daily Tool Box meeting at site.
  • Coordinate with QC for all the related inspection and NDT requirement.
  • Check field works and carry out the works in proper manner.
  • Carry out daily reporting and monitoring at site progress in order to achieve planned schedule.
  • Ensure site housekeeping are well maintained and strictly follow proper work sequence and work flow.
  • Prepare necessary documents such as JCS, SI as and when required for all additional work requirements.
  • Responsible for MTO take off and follow up.
  • Assist to discipline Engineer to solve site concern matters.
  • Reports to Piping Superintendent / Section Head for all the day to day progress.

Job Requirements

  • Degree or Diploma holder.
  • Minimum 5 – 8 years of experiences as Piping Engineer with scope of work in Marine or Oil & Gas Industry.
  • Good communication skills and PC literate.

Job Description

  • Supervise, organize and plan activities to ensure smooth fabrication and construction of structures within the stipulated schedule.
  • Review technical drawings and advise engineering of any discrepancies before commencement of fabrication works.
  • Perform MTO and update progressively to ensure proper control of material procurement and usage.
  • Ensure that manpower is effectively deployed to deliver the products timely.

Job Requirements

PAINTING SUPERVISOR CUM INSPECTOR

Job Description

  • Comply with the specification, control and monitoring the activities.
  • Ensure the Blasting and Painting activities carried out as per the specification.
  • Responsible for complete quality control for Blasting and Painting works, Procedures, Standards etc.
  • Prepare documentation like painting procedures, ITP, galvanizing procedures, or any other procedures specified required by client and get client’s approval.
  • Review the painting specification get from the painting manufacturer and commented if any.
  • Obtain painting specification approval from the client.
  • Check the delivered paint materials with batch numbers, ensure the paint come across the specification.
  • Take the ambient conditions in the chamber and modules with the proper intervals and keep the permanent record.
  • Arrange the qualification test for Blaster / Painter and certify them.
  • Check the calibration date for the measuring devices before commence the project and arrange for recalibration if it expires.
  • Maintain the measuring tools safe and tidy.
  • Inspection notification should be send to the respective clients within the time.
  • Pre-inspect the module at each stage prior to call client inspection and ensure the quality meets the specification prior to call inspection to the client.
  • All the non-conformance, observations should be closed and get client approval.
  • Making painting reports on time and gets client approval.
  • Coordinate with external parties in technical details.
  • Review Consultant design / technical details.
  • Coordinate with project team drawing consultation phase.

Job Requirements

  • With 5 years of working experience as Panting Supervisor with scope of work in Marine or Oil & Gas Industry.
  • Prefer with NACE 2 certification.

MATERIAL MANAGEMENT CONTROLLER

Job Description

  • Involve in project to ensure smooth flow of Project materials by coordinating with individual disciplines / trades in Production and Supporting Department.
  • Daily update the material status for both Client FIM and DM purchased items in Material Status Report.
  • Utilize the surplus materials prior raising any Purchase Request (PR).
  • Evaluate MTO from Engineering and Production to ensure all information is aligned and captured.
  • Familiar with project material specifications (latest revision) / requirements such as approved vendor list (AVL), country of restrictions if any Etc.
  • If any specific requirements based on client specification & highlighted on the purchase requisitions (PR). In order to avoid any discrepancies.
  • Prepare material status report (MSR) for MMC lead review. And update periodically.
  • Raise Technical Query (TO) for material substitution and non-approved vendor acceptance.
  • Raise Job Confirmation Sheet for redundant materials found in MTO revision.
  • Prepare material offcut list based on MTO quantity and cross check with site offcut list from supervisor.

Job Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experiences as site coordinator in Structural/Painting disciple in Marine or Oil & Gas Industry.

  • Carrying out all tasks assigned by HOD/Engineer in accordance with the discipline procedures and practices.
  • Be responsible for managing and reporting on the activities to HOD.
  • Carrying out site supervision of erection, re-erection, modification and de staging activities.
  • Monitor and update daily activities & progress and manpower reports and feedback any lacks to HOD/PJM.

Job Description

  • Shall be responsible for the engagement and negotiation of work with contractors.
  • To ensure the awarded price is within the budget or to achieve the optimum price level to increase profitability for the company.
  • To handle all required legal documents with respect to Letter of Indemnity, Workmen Insurances, Bankers Guarantees, etc.
  • To check that all supporting documents are attached to the PR, if otherwise, to return to requestor.
  • To check that PR has budget (positive) indicated, if otherwise to return to requestor.
  • To be familiar with Ministry of Manpower regulations concerning sub-contracting work from Companies using foreign workers.
  • To prepare and compile all required information for contractors to submit accurate quotations including cost estimation.
  • To follow up with contractor's quotations, negotiate and issue Works Order within the shortest possible time.
  • To liaise with Production Departments on subcontracting matters, keep abreast of contractor's performances and progress.
  • To handle complaints from Production Departments as and when required concerning poor progress or quality work from contractors.
  • To ensure all supporting information are duly attached to the PR to ensure fast and smooth process of WO.
  • To handle any additional Claims or Contract Variations from contractors.
  • To keep abreast of subcontracting news in the market on current market pricing and trends.
  • To ensure accurate information is prepared prior to issuance of Works Order to contractors.
  • To handle the evaluation and assessment of contractors and their facilities in the form of audit if required.
  • To verify that the details of contractors invoices are correct and as per Works Order issued. Any invoices with discrepancies / incomplete information shall be returned to Accounts Dept.
  • To advise the Reporting Officer of any recommendation to the listing or delisting of Resident Contractors.

  • Diploma in the marine, naval architecture, offshore, Oil & Gas discipline.
