Project Engineer (Oil & Gas)

- We are currently seeking a professional to join Schneider Electric as Project Engineer
Location: Selangor, Malaysia
In this role, you will
• Implementation of the system design according to the customer specification and processes and standards - Ensure cost optimized engineering solutions
- Ensure appropriate technical solutions according to system specification.
- Responsible for on time engineering mile stones according to project schedule
- Provide inputs for manual preparation & responsible for correctness of manuals
- Provide inputs for drafting & responsible for correctness of drawings
- Responsible for all technical questions and solutions for the assigned projects.
- Handle multiple projects in parallel
- Customer communication regarding technical & scheduelling
- Must be physically fit due to offshore activities
Qualifications
- To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements: • Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
- Min. 2-3 years exp. in project engineering in related field.
- Experience in electrical power engineering design, ENMCS within the oil & gas, power or petrochemical section is an added advantage.
- Able to work in an international environment which includes liaising with internal & external parties
- Possess excellent interpersonal skills as well as strong command of the English language, both verbal and written
- Oil & Gas, Utilities & offshore experience will be added advantages.
